OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police say one person was seriously injured, after a two-car accident sent one car flying over a curb into a walkway.

Emergency crews responded to the accident in the area of I-240 and Pennsylvania a little before 8:00 p.m. Friday. A red pickup was traveling westbound on I-240 Service Rd. when it ran a red light at Pennsylvania. That's when the vehicle was struck by another pickup going north on Pennsylvania, sending it flying onto the northwest corner of the intersection.

According to police, a woman standing with a little girl was struck and pinned underneath the vehicle. Emergency crews transported her to a local hospital in serious condition. The little girl was unharmed.
