Crews Battle House Fire In NE OKC

Fire crews battled a house fire in NE OKC Friday afternoon.

Crews were called to the home at 2112 NE 28^th St before 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, the heaviest flames were coming from the garage, and the fire had also extended to the attic. Firefighters quickly extinguished to the blaze.

One person was home at the time of the incident. She was uninjured.

After an investigation, it was determined the fire started in the clothes drier in the garage. But investigators were unable to conclude if it was due to lint build-up or a mechanical malfunction.
