18-Year-Old Arrested In OKC For Raping Teen Girl

Oklahoma City police arrested an 18-year-old who is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl.

According to police, Thursday afternoon, the victim reported to officers that she had been raped by 18-year-old Kelvin Esquibel. The victim said she had met Esquibel at the carnival and has since then spoken to him through Facebook and a friend’s phone.

At about 7:30 p.m. Monday, September 7, the victim said she invited Esquibel to a friend’s party. When Esquibel arrived, the victim said he invited her to go get ice cream and go to the park.

When the victim got into Esquibel’s vehicle, she said Esquibel drove her straight to the park. Esquibel reportedly asked the victim to get into the backseat with him.

The victim said they began kissing when they got into the backseat. But Esquibel began touching her inappropriately, and the victim said she told him that she wanted to “take it slow.” But Esquibel reportedly refused to stop and raped the victim.

During the incident, the victim said she was able to kick Esquibel off of her. She then told him to take her home.

Police located Esquibel and took him into custody. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail Friday morning on a complaint of first-degree rape. A bond has not been set.
