Man Arrested After Attempted Auto Burglary, Police Chase In OKC

A man accused of trying to steal a car was arrested after he led Oklahoma City officers on a short chase early Thursday morning.

According to police, the suspect attempted to steal a car at 149th and Interstate 44. When officers saw him, the man reportedly got back into his pickup truck and drove away. That’s when the chase began.

The suspect crashed his truck a short time later at 116th and May. Police took him into custody.

Police have not identified the suspect at this time.
