OKLAHOMA CITY -

An employee at the Oklahoma City Community Intervention Center (CIC) was arrested after being accused of raping a teenage girl, who was booked into the facility for public drunkenness.

The Community Intervention Center provides a place for officers to take juveniles who are arrested. According to police, at about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the report of a possible sexual assault that had occurred at the CIC facility, located at 201 N.E. 50th Street. A woman reported to authorities that her daughter, who is about 17 years old, had been booked into CIC facility by Edmond police at about 2 a.m. on September 3 for public drunkenness.

The suspect, 23-year-old Cornelius Deontay Jackson, and another employee were on duty at the time. The other employee left the facility for a meal break. The victim told police that Jackson showed her naked photos of himself on his cell phone and fondled her. A few hours later, she said Jackson woke her up and told her to come to the storage room with him.

The victim said she did not see any other staff in the building. She said she knew what might happen, but decided that screaming in an empty building would not help. Jackson reportedly raped the victim in the storage room.  The victim said she was still intoxicated and did not resist.

The victim's mother said they waited to call police due to the holiday weekend.

Authorities obtained surveillance video of the two entering the storage room and exiting it. Jackson was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of second-degree rape. He’s being held on $10,000 bond.
