Woman In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car In NW OKC

A woman is in the hospital after she was hit by a car early Monday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

Several people saw the accident since it was outside of a metro bar. Police said the woman was crossing MacArthur after leaving the OK Corral near N.W. 23rd Street when she was hit.

We're told the woman was taken to OU Medical Center in critical condition.

Oklahoma City police said the driver did stop. Officers detained that driver, but they don't think drugs or alcohol were factors.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
