OKLAHOMA CITY -

Some of Oklahoma's Own are making a difference at an Oklahoma City-area school. Heart 4 Children Ministries offers disaster relief for children. Members of the Bartlesville-based ministry, run by Mikaela Hulstine, headed to Crutcho Schools to provide clothing for students in need.

Hulstine said she became acquainted with the community after widespread flooding a couple of years ago. She kept in touch with administrators at the school district and returned to the area Saturday.

A teacher gave her clothing sizes for kids in need.

"About seven families showed up, and we had 14 to 17 children," Hulstine said. "It was so fun to see their faces."

Heart 4 Children gave out the mostly new clothing, and they are available to help with other needs. The all-volunteer registered charity offers comfort and support to children with deliveries of shoes, clothes and toys to Oklahoma, Missouri and Alabama.
