Sunny And Hot Labor Day Weekend For Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:

Pack sunscreen and plenty of water if you’re headed to the lake for the weekend. It’s going to be sunny and hot with little chance of rain in the state.

Skies will stay mostly clear Friday night and temperatures will fall into the low 70s.

Mostly sunny skies are expected through the weekend with slight rain chances lingering far northwest and far southeast. Highs will top out in the low 90s Saturday and the mid-90s on Sunday.

A front approaches the state on Labor Day. This will put a slight chance of storms in northern Oklahoma for the holiday. Out ahead of the front, temperatures will climb to the mid and upper 90s. Central Oklahoma has better chances for rain and storms midweek of next week.
