In Washington State, three major fires are still burning right now, covering about 100,000 acres. Officials said more than 175 homes have been burned, leaving people and their pets with nothing.
On Friday, Oklahomans joined together at Atwoods in Norman to donate supplies to the Washington Wildfire Relief Centers. They're asking for food for dogs, cats, and livestock, along with medical supplies, leather gloves, and bedding.
The group will be collecting donations again on Saturday at the Norman Atwoods, on 24th Avenue Southwest. You can find more on the Facebook page "Oklahomans Paying It Forward."
