Edmond businesswoman Victoria Woods made the news by giving out hundreds of yard signs supporting police.
I mentioned some people doing nice things for officers like buying their lunch, and suggested we all find ways to show our support.
Here's what you had to say:
Anita asks, "Where can I get a yard sign?"
You can get a sign at Chappelwood in Edmond, but wait until next week.
Tina writes from Moore, "I witnessed officers pushing a stalled car out of an intersection in blazing heat the other day. I told them thanks and that we appreciate them as I drove by, they smiled so big!"
Andy in Stillwater, "Trust me a simple thank you will go farther than you will ever know to any emergency responder."
Mike in Ardmore, "I bought lunch for officers before and when I get a chance I will do the same I always tell them to be safe and have a great day."
I agree with Curt on this one, "I recently attended the citizens police academy and suggest that all citizens of OKC do the same."
From Sam, "We have blue lights outside and I love the blue ribbon idea. In fact I will go and get some tomorrow."
Some folks are hanging blue ribbons outside their homes.
And Tamra in El Reno says, “I heard there was a theater in Texas offering free admission to all first responders."
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's Your 2 Cents.
