Two Oklahoma City dogs that survived being shot in August will be ready for adoption this weekend.

Dezi and Lucy are on the mend and will be ready for adoption when the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter opens at noon on Sunday, September 6.

The OKC Animal Shelter is located at 2811 S.E. 29th Street. The dogs are staying with their foster family until Sunday. The shelter supervisor wants to keep the “comedy duo” together, so they need to go to the same loving home. 

Meanwhile, police continue to look for the person who shot the dogs. Anyone with information which can help authorities are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
