It's a call a parent never wants to get about their child; allegations of rape at school.

One father told News 9 his special needs daughter was assaulted by another student in Lexington.

Lexington school officials would only say an incident occurred Tuesday afternoon at its junior high school, but would not comment any further.

News 9 is told the Lexington police chief is personally investigating the rape allegations.

“Where was a teacher when this happened, you know, where was an adult?” the victim’s father Raymond Williams said.

A father is numb after getting a disturbing phone call from his daughter's junior high school.

“I was on location working, and I got the call, and I just about fell over,” Williams said. “It blew my mind. I’m like what, what happened? You just don’t know what to say. You don’t know what to do.”

He says he was told his 13-year-old special needs daughter, who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD, was raped in the school's gym.

Even worse, he said the accused rapist was his daughter's classmate, and also 13.

“If there would have been somebody there, this wouldn’t have happened I don’t think. He wouldn’t have had that opportunity. He had this planned,” Williams said.

Lexington school officials told Williams his daughter had just wrapped up her P.E. class and was headed to lunch.

“She decided she needed her bag, went in the bag room where I guess everybody puts their bags at,” Williams said. “He came in behind her, shut the door, and turned the light off.”

Several minutes later, she immediately reports to school officials her father's worst fear.

“We both promised that it would never happen to our daughter, and there it goes. It happened. It just happened,” Williams said.

And Williams said he knows the accused rapist. The young man has known his daughter for nearly a year.

“It could be anybody’s daughter or son, I mean, you can’t trust anybody no more. I mean you just can’t,” Williams said.

As far News 9 knows, the 13-year-old accused has not been arrested.
