If you’ve been hoping for a little more summertime as we move into September, this forecast is for you!
It doesn’t look like any fall weather is headed our way, at least not for the next nine days. It’s not the most exciting forecast and one we usually reserve for July and August, but for now, say hello to an above-normal start to September.
Rain chances for the next few days will stay primarily in the panhandle and far eastern Oklahoma.
Our weather pattern is one that keeps low pressure in on the east coast and west coast and the Southern Plains will stay stuck underneath high pressure, which, as you know, keeps rain away from most of our viewing area.
