Verdigris Boy Dies Sunday At St. Louis Hospital

A sad update to a story News On 6 has been following for some time. Riyley Beck, a 6-year-old Verdigris boy who had a heart transplant earlier this year, has died.

Supporters updated Riyley's Facebook page Sunday afternoon:

"Riyley Chayse Beck went to be with the Lord at 12:37! He was surrounded by people he loved and adored! We love you so much turbo and you will forever be in our hearts!"

The group requests a show of support for the family, asking people to replace their profile photos on the social media website with a remembrance ribbon with Riyley's favorite Ninja turtles. You can find that ribbon and leave words of support on Fightin' For Riley.
