WARR ACRES, Oklahoma -

A police chase was caught on dash cam moments after two women are caught trying to cash a forged check.

The driver sped through several Warr Acres neighborhoods until slamming into the front of a house.

It started when two women showed up at the First Fidelity Bank near NW 39 Street and MacArthur Boulevard, but an alert teller tipped off police.

They thought they could get away with it. It seemed simple enough by pulling up to the bank window and giving the teller a check and an ID.

The problem was the check was stolen, but that didn't stop Nicolle Williams or Cassondra Livermore from trying.

However, the teller noticed the signature on the check did not match the one the bank had on file. While Williams and Livermore were waiting, the bank worker called the account holder as well as police.

“As soon as the officers arrived, they started to roll away, and then as soon as they activated their emergency lights then they started actively trying to evade us,” Warr Acres Police Lt. Matt Berger said.

The couple hightailed it out down the road and left behind the check and an ID. The two took police on a five mile chase before slamming into a neighborhood.

“They ended up in a residential area and crashed into a home,” Berger said.

Already getting out before the vehicle came to a complete stop, Williams used the passenger side mirror as a boost to get over the fence. Livermore just couldn't quite make it and immediately threw her hands up and surrendered.

“The other one managed to hide from us in the area for about a half hour,” Berger said.

After about thirty minutes of hiding, Williams decided to make another run for it and caught the eye of officers. Both were taken into custody.

Williams and Livermore are facing several charges.
