Annual OKC Storytelling Festival Kicks Off Next Week

It's always a good time for a story!  Children and parents will have the opportunity to join in on the fun of Art Council Oklahoma City’s annual “OKC Storytelling Festival at the Family Matinee” performance, next week.

It's always a good time for a story! Children and parents will have the opportunity to join in on the fun of Art Council Oklahoma City’s annual “OKC Storytelling Festival at the Family Matinee” performance, next week.

The children's event takes place August 29, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the Oklahoma History Center on 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive. The performance features a collaborative project by storytellers Megan Wells and Jim May, called “Crawlies! Caterpillars & Worms”. The performance is followed by an interactive children’s art activity provided for kids to express their own creative side based off the program, “Crawlies! Caterpillars & Worms”.

The event is free to all attendees.
