The Oklahoma City Dodgers held the Reno Aces to two hits in a 2-1 win Friday in front of a crowd of 9,757 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Dodgers (76-50) took a 2-1 lead in their series against the Aces, winning for the ninth time in the last 12 games.

Reno (61-65) took a quick lead in the first inning.

Mike Freeman led off the game with a double, then scored when Danny Dorn hit a sacrifice fly to put Reno ahead, 1-0.

The Dodgers’ Corey Seager knotted the game, 1-1, with a solo homer in the bottom of the third inning that landed on the Budweiser Deck in left field for his 10th home run of the season with Oklahoma City.

The Dodgers broke the tie and took the lead in the sixth inning.

Austin Barnes and Scott Schebler drew back-to-back one-out walks. Both advanced a base on a groundout by Jose Tabata. Reno reliever Kevin Munson then intentionally walked Elliot Johnson to load the bases with two outs.

Buck Britton, activated off the disabled list Thursday, entered the game to pinch hit and connected on a RBI infield single to put the Dodgers in front, 2-1.

Dodgers starting pitcher Joe Wieland (10-5) earned his 10th win of the season, becoming the first Oklahoma City pitcher to reach the 10-win mark since Michael Kirkman (13) in 2010.

He allowed one run on two hits with one walk and four strikeouts over six innings Friday.

Dodgers relievers Ramon Troncoso, Danny Coulombe and Chin-Hui Tsao followed and combined to throw three hitless and scoreless innings. Tsao picked up his seventh save of the season.

Reno starting pitcher Blayne Weller (0-1) was charged with the loss. He allowed two runs on five hits over 5.1 innings. He walked two and struck out four.

The Dodgers conclude their eight-game homestand and four-game series against Reno at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

MidFirst Bank and the OKC Dodgers have teamed up to “Pack the Park Pink” Saturday. Dodgers players and coaches will take the field wearing special pink jerseys, and a silent auction will take place for the autographed, game-worn jerseys, with proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

OKC Disc Dogs will also be performing throughout Saturday’s game.
