Enjoy your plans if you’ve made any outdoors Friday. The metro won’t see any rain chances until after midnight.

Storms may form in the Texas panhandle and make a push for southwest Oklahoma Friday evening and night. More storms will develop to our far north, but not much for the central part of the state. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s.

Saturday looks sunny, hot and humid. A pretty typical August day is in store with highs in the low 90s.

A cold front moves in late Saturday night and into Sunday morning. This will bring widespread chances for showers and storms, including the OKC metro. Highs will fall to the low 80s by the end of the weekend.
