Showers, Storms Likely To Stay North, NW Of OKC Metro Tuesday Night

Showers and storms will fire along a cold front in northwest Oklahoma Tuesday evening. They will generally move east to southeast Tuesday night and may fall apart as they move into the metro. Strong to severe storms will likely stay north and northwest of the metro.

Showers and storms will fire along a cold front in northwest Oklahoma Tuesday evening. They will generally move east to southeast Tuesday night and may fall apart as they move into the metro. Strong to severe storms will likely stay north and northwest of the metro.

Additional showers and storms will form behind the cold front tonight and spread across the state overnight into Wednesday morning. Cooler air moves in and overnight lows fall to the low 60s. Scattered showers will be around for much of the day Wednesday. Fall-like temperatures will take over. Highs will struggle to make it near 70 in the afternoon. Rain will end early in the evening from west to east.

Sunshine returns on Thursday with highs in the low 80s.
