One suspect was arrested after being involved in some kind of altercation with an Oklahoma City police officer, Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called out to the scene near the North Village apartment complex located near NW 105th St. and N. Western Ave. just after 3 p.m.

According to initial reports, a responding officer got into a scuffle with a suspect during which some substance was sprayed or thrown into his face.

So far there has been no word on injuries. The officer could be seen being treated by paramedics for whatever substance was used on him.

The suspect was transported from the scene by ambulance with a protective bag placed over his head, to keep him from spitting or biting first responders. His identity is not known at this time.
