Oklahoma City police arrested two suspects and are looking for one more in connection to an armed robbery that happened late Sunday night near Putnam City High School.
According to police, at 11:24 p.m., officers responded to the report of a robbery in the area of Rockwell Avenue and Summit Drive. A man told police he was walking near Putnam City High School when he was robbed at gunpoint by two male suspects and a female suspect.
Police said the victim's personal items were taken during the crime. The suspects' vehicle was described as a red SUV.
While responding to the scene, officers said they spotted an SUV matching the description near N.W. 122nd St. and Rockwell Ave. Officers stopped the vehicle and were able to locate one male suspect and one female suspect from the robbery.
The two, later identified as a 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old Aiyjah Burris, were arrested and will be booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for armed robbery.
Police are currently searching for the third suspect, who is thought to be in a nearby apartment complex. News 9 and News9.com will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
