OHP: OKC Man Drowned In Lake Eufaula

EUFAULA, Oklahoma -

An Oklahoma City man drowned early Saturday in Lake Eufaula, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Chauncey F. Johnson, 56, was last seen sitting on the sidewall of a boat from 3 to 4 a.m. Saturday. Johnson was reported missing about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, troopers said.

A dive team was requested and troopers found the man's body shortly before 10:40 a.m. Sunday in about 22 feet of water, troopers said.

Johnson was not using a personal floatation device.
