Police Searching For Homicide Suspect In NW OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service are on the hunt for a homicide suspect on the Northwest side of the metro.

The Oklahoma City Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service are on the hunt for a homicide suspect on the Northwest side of the metro.

Authorities received a tip early Friday afternoon, that a man wanted for first degree murder may be staying at a home in the area of NW 111th St. and N. Miller Ave.

The suspect is believed to be traveling on foot.

Police set up a perimeter and dispatched the OCPD helicopter to assist in the search.

Residents in the area were asked to stay inside and to contact 911 if they see anything suspicious.

A little before 8:30 p.m. Friday, police discontinued the search for the suspect. But, said they did locate and arrested one another fugitive.

The suspect they were originally searching for remains at large.
