A woman was pulled from a burning mobile home near Newalla, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

A woman was pulled from a burning mobile home near Newalla, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

According to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s office, at about 7:22 a.m. deputies responded to a trailer fire at 19261 8 A Street. When they arrived, they said the structure was fully engulfed in flames.

A man told deputies at the scene that he saw smoke coming from the trailer, opened the front door and found a woman on the couch. He pulled the 56-year-old woman from the trailer.

EMSStat transported the victim to Norman Regional Hospital. Her condition is unknown.

Norman and Little Axe Fire Departments extinguished the fire.  The home is located in an unincorporated area of Cleveland County. Deputies contacted the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and that agency will be in charge of the fire investigation.
