A former Edmond Santa Fe cheer booster club president, charged with embezzlement, was sentenced on Thursday with jail time and a hefty fine.

A former Edmond Santa Fe cheer booster club president, charged with embezzlement, was sentenced on Thursday with jail time and a hefty fine.

Stacey Torre pleaded ‘No Contest’ to one count of embezzlement and five counts of unauthorized use of a computer. Torre was charged for the crimes back in Nov. 2014, after authorities accused her of using booster funds for food and other personal expenses.

Torre was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered her to pay $14,000 in restitution. The jail sentence was actually for 10 years, with all but 90 days being suspended.
