OKC Police Officer Finds Shooting Victim After Hearing Gunshots

According to police, just before 4 a.m., a police lieutenant was driving in the area of N.W. 16th and Ann Arbor when he heard numerous gunshots. According to police, just before 4 a.m., a police lieutenant was driving in the area of N.W. 16th and Ann Arbor when he heard numerous gunshots.
OKLAHOMA CITY -

A police officer found a victim who had been shot multiple times, after he heard gunshots in a northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

According to police, just before 4 a.m., a police lieutenant was driving in the area of N.W. 16th and Ann Arbor when he heard numerous gunshots.  He drove toward the area where he heard the shots and found a shooting victim in the 4700 block of N.W. 16th.

Police said the man had been hit multiple times by gunfire.  He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition and taken to surgery. 

No arrests have been made. The suspect is believed to be a man possibly driving a two-door red truck. It's unclear at this point what lead to the confrontation between the suspect and the victim.
