A 3.1-magnitude earthquake was reported Monday afternoon in northern Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A 3.1-magnitude earthquake was reported Monday afternoon in northern Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The earthquake happened shortly after 3:45 p.m. Monday in Grant County. Its epicenter was about 13 miles south, southeast of Anthony, Kansas, 39 miles north of Enid, 50 miles west, northwest of Ponca City, and 106 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was about three miles deep, the survey reported.

No immediate reports of damage or injuries were reported.
