A man said a new Ten Commandments Monument in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, is on his private property.
The monument is located at the corner of N. Rush and W. Blakely in Rush Springs. Duane Gibbs told News 9 that his church asked him to put up the monument outside his business.
Gibbs said the monument has nothing to do with the one at the State Capitol, and that it is on private property. He said the Rush Springs city officials told him they have no problems with it.
Gibbs told News 9 the monument was put up on his property on Friday, August 7, before the Watermelon Festival.
