Another triple-digit heat day Sunday but the good news, it may be the last one this week!
A cold front moving into northwest Oklahoma Sunday afternoon may spark some scattered showers and storms. A few of those could become strong with hail up to the size of quarters and gusty winds up to 60 mph.
Later Sunday evening, as the front moves farther into the state, showers and storms will likely increase in northern Oklahoma. Some heavy downpours and frequent lightning will be possible.
As the front moves through the state Monday, winds will turn out of the northeast and bring a slight chance of showers and storms through more of the state, including the OKC Metro.
Slight chances for rain and storms will continue through Wednesday and temps will hover below normal in the lower 90s.
