Power Restored To Most OG&E Customers In Central Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Severe weather swept through the metro area bringing high winds, lightning, and hail Wednesday evening. At one point overnight, a few thousand residents were without power.

As of 10:50 p.m., over 2,800 OG&E customers are without power. That includes 389 in Oklahoma City, 2,334 in Midwest City, and 88 in Guthrie.

Crews worked to restore power in the affected areas. As of 7:45 a.m. Thursday, 58 customers are still without power in Midwest City, and 53 are without power in Norman.
