Your 2 Cents: The Minnesota Dentist Who Killed Cecil The Lion

I'm surprised at the level of outrage over the killing of an African lion, and think it's premature to talk about extraditing the dentist accused of poaching.

Here's what you had to say:

Shirley in Ada first said, "Sure hope our State Department does not allow for him to be extradited back to Zimbabwe. The country itself is who is to blame for selling permits to the hunters."

But Patrick argues, "He is an educated man. He knew what the guides were doing."

Billy writes, "People are tired of the mindless slaughter of our precious and now endangered wildlife."

Yvonne says, "I don't get the draw for killing game, either. However, he had a permit, hired a guide, and paid big money to do the hunt. This is how they make their money."

Aimee writes, "At the very least, he is an idiot. At worst, he should be shot and see how he likes it."

Finally, Vernon in Tahlequah asked what several of you did, tying it to the Planned Parenthood scandal, "What is different from that killing and the killing of preborn babies and then even worse selling body parts as though they are selling parts to repair a car."
