Nice, Not-So-Hot Monday Across Oklahoma

A nice, not-so-hot day to welcome the kiddos back to school in OKC.

A few showers and storms in western OK this morning with best chances in the southwest. Cloud cover from this morning's showers will help limit our highs today. Even though it is the first week of August, our typical hottest week of the year, highs today will only be in the 80s out west. We are looking for highs in the low 90s here in the OKC Metro. Rain chances will continue off and on all day with best chances staying west of OKC. 

Tonight another round of rain and storms are expected in northern OK with slight opportunities in OKC as well. This will once again lead to below average temperatures on your Tuesday. Enjoy the low 90s, because August heat builds back in by the end of the week.
