Police: Man Struck By Stray Bullet In Southwest OKC

Police are investigating after a man was reportedly hit by a stray bullet in southwest Oklahoma City, early Monday morning.

Police are investigating after a man was reportedly hit by a stray bullet in southwest Oklahoma City, early Monday morning.

According to police, just after 3 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Oak Creek apartment complex near S.W. 59th and Lee Ave. Officers were called to Southwest Medical Center when a man with a gunshot wound walked into the hospital's E.R.

The victim told police he was near his front porch watching a group of men in the parking lot. At some point, an argument erupted between the men. The argument intensified and the group of men began shooting at each other.

The victim said he was struck by stray gunfire. He then drove himself to SW Medical Center. The victim is listed in stable condition at the hospital.

Police said currently no arrests have been made. Investigators are working to develop leads. The police department's CSI Unit is currently processing the parking lot for evidence.
