Small Earthquake Reported In South Oklahoma

A small earthquake was reported Sunday evening in Jefferson County, according to U.S. Geological Survey.

The 3.1-magnitude earthquake was reported about 5:45 p.m. Its epicenter was about six miles northwest of Healdton, 25 miles southeast of Duncan, 50 miles east, southeast of Lawton and 80 miles south of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was about five miles deep.

No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
