Checotah Police Officer Arrested On Drug Complaint

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a Checotah K9 Officer Friday, on a drug complaint.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a Checotah K9 Officer Friday, on a drug complaint.

The investigation began last month when the Checotah police chief requested OSBI to investigate missing drugs from the department.

Matthew Benton LaMasters, 35, was interviewed and taken into custody at the Checotah Police Department. LaMasters was booked on a complaint of obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud.
