A cold front is beginning to enter the state from the north in the panhandle.
There is a chance of showers and storms in far northwest Oklahoma Tuesday evening, but the rest of us will stay warm and dry with overnight lows in in the low 70s.
The cold front draped across Kansas will slide farther into Oklahoma Wednesday and stall out in the northwest. This will put a slight chance of showers and storms in our forecast, but most of the day will be spent dry under mostly sunny skies.
It will continue to be hot with highs in the mid-90s.
The best chance of storms for the metro will take place Thursday and early Friday morning. Temperatures cool to the low 90s and upper 80s during this time.
