Newborn conjoined twins successfully separated at OU Children's are finally getting to go home.

The twin girls Hartlyn and Everlee were born on July 6th - joined at the abdomen. But after a long stay at the hospital and a surgery that took more than four hours, the duo finally get to start their journey separated.

“We’re excited and just thank everybody here that’s been a part of their journey and our journey,” said their mother Khalie Perez

The girls still face surgeries to repair the organs they once shared.
