McAlester Woman Found Dead; Silver Alert Canceled

A Silver Alert for a McAlester woman has been canceled after she was found dead on Sunday, police say.

The Tulsa Police Department issued the Silver Alert on Saturday for Ginger K. Miller, 62. The alert said Miller required regular medications and suffers from memory loss.

She was last seen at 8200 S. Jamestown Avenue on Friday around 6 p.m. Miller was en route back to McAlester after stopping at a store in Tulsa.

According to TPD, a family member found Miller in a parking lot in the 8200 block S. Harvard Ave. on Sunday, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown how long she had been there. 

The cause of death has yet to be determined, but foul play is not suspected at this time, TPD says.
