OKC Police Officer Hospitalized Following Crash

An Oklahoma City Police Officer has been taken to a local hospital after a car crash Friday night.

According to authorities, the officer was responding to a report of shots fired in the area of Highland Park Dr. and Penn when another car pulled out in front of him.

The officer was transported to the hospital and the officer's condition is unknown at this time.

The person in the other car has non-life threatening injuries.

Names of those involved have not been released.
