District Attorney Jason Hicks Wins 'DA Of The Year' Award

District Attorney Jason Hicks was awarded the David Moss Memorial Award for Outstanding District Attorney by the Oklahoma District Attorney’s Association. 

The award is presented annually to an elected District Attorney for their performance in office. 

“I am honored and humbled by the confidence of my fellow District Attorneys in awarding me the David Moss Memorial Award,” said Hicks. “It is my privilege to serve the people of District 6 as their District Attorney and I look forward to continuing in that role well into the future.” 

District Attorney Chris Ross presented the award to Hicks during a luncheon on Thursday at the District Attorney’s annual summer conference. 

Ross noted that Hicks prosecuted several high-profile murder cases over the last year and that he represented his District and the State of Oklahoma with honor and respect. 

Hicks serves as a board member on the Southwest Regional Child Fatality Review Board, the Youth Services for Stephens County Board of Directors, the Oklahoma District Attorney’s Association Board of Directors, the Technology Committee for the District Attorney’s Council, among various other boards and committees with which he is involved.
