McGary Visits Thunder Campers

A Thunder player mixed it up with a group of people half his size on Thursday. 6-foot-10 forward Mitch McGary gave basketball lessons to 75 kids at the Santa Fe Family Life Center in Northeast Oklahoma City.

McGary also gave his thoughts on having center Enes Kanter back this season. “I’m going to be fighting for a spot,” McGary said. “And I’m happy because he’s a great player and I’m more than thrilled to be fighting up against him and alongside him to try to win games.”

“He’s quiet and I think we kind of broke him out of his shell a little bit.”
