Another Hot Day, But Rain Chances Return Monday

We continue with the heat and humidity Sunday before a little relief shows up.

Highs Sunday will reach the 100's again in western Oklahoma. The entire state will have heat index values above 100.

Monday afternoon, a weak front will settle into northern Oklahoma and bring a slight chance of showers and storms to northern and northwestern Oklahoma. Tuesday, the front moves into central Oklahoma and rain and storm chances go up for almost everyone. A few strong storms aren't out of the question through Wednesday.

Rainfall amounts don't look half bad either. The heaviest rain will fall in northeast Oklahoma where anywhere from 1-1.5 inches of rain could fall!

Following our rain chances, the heat and humidity will build back in by the end of the week.
