A man was robbed and shot at the Adams Crossing Apartments near NW 39th and Penn.

The suspects ran from the scene but not without passing in front of several surveillance cameras. Police are hoping the video captured on July 12th will lead to the capture of the suspects.

"It's two people we want to get off of the streets as soon as possible," said Master Sergeant Gary Knight.

The video begins with the suspects approaching a man as he is getting out of his car.

"The suspects demanded cash and the victim complied and actually handed over cash," Knight explained even though the victim turned over his wallet the suspects still shot him in the ankle.

Police said one of the suspects bent down and said something to the suspect. It's unclear what he said.

As the suspects took off running, a car pulled into the parking lot. Police said the suspects then turned the gun on that car and fired one shot into the back window -- narrowly missing the driver.

"Clearly they are not only just robbing people but shooting at people and shooting people they are robbing even when they comply," Knight said it's a highly dangerous situation and police want to identify the suspects as soon as possible.

If you recognize the suspects or having any information about this crime call crime stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
