Police are looking for two suspects who were caught on camera robbing a man, shooting him and firing a shot at a passing car at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

According to police, at about 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, officers responded to the report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the Adam Crossings apartments, located in the 2400 block of N.W. 39th Street.

When officers arrived, they found out that the victim had been shot in the ankle. He was then transported to OU Medical Center.

During the investigation, officers learned that two suspects walked up to the victim as he was getting out of his car. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his wallet. The victim handed the suspects his phone and wallet. That’s when one suspect said, “I don’t want your phone,” and fired a shot at the victim.

The two suspects grabbed the victim’s wallet and ran away from the scene, police said.

While investigating the scene, officers said they were approached by a second victim, who said someone had fired a shot at his car. That victim said he was driving westbound through the apartment complex, when he saw two men running passed the passenger side of his car.  He said he immediately heard a loud bang and heard the glass break on his rear passenger side window.

On Thursday, July 16, police released a surveillance video taken of the incident.  In the video, you can see two views of the suspects’ vehicle driving into the complex and parking.

One suspect is described as a black male who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts and has a tattoo on his left forearm. The second suspect is described as a black male who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and a black doo rag.
