Man Accused Of Trying To Abduct Children From SW OKC Neighborhoods

A man is accused of attempting to kidnap three children across southwest Oklahoma City and police believe there may be more victims.

Brandon Moore, 25, is in jail, but he's talking to investigators about his motive.

Documents show Moore admitted to police that he called children to his truck, with the intent of showing them pornographic photos. 

He also told police he did this two days in a row, in two different southwest OKC neighborhoods.

“I was inside, my daughter went to go take the dog for a walk, and about 10 minutes later she came back in saying that somebody approached her,” Marlee Kitchel said.

Kitchel said this all happened just before 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Moore allegedly drove up to her 11-year-old daughter.

Kitchel said Moore asked her if she had seen a picture of a missing girl.

“He said, ‘Come here, come closer,’ and he held out the picture to her,” Kitchel said. “And when she leaned in, she saw it was a picture of a guy’s crotch, and obviously that’s not appropriate, so she immediate backed off from the car.”

Brandon told police "he's been looking at images of young girls and having sexual thoughts about them."

He said he was "unable to control those thoughts, and unable to stop watching pornography"

“I was about to go out there and ring his neck, obviously, because I didn’t know who was out there at the time,” Kitchel said.

Kitchel’s daughter ran to a neighbor who was outside.

“And she looked scared and I called her back, and she told me what had happened, and we called the police,” said Kitchel’s neighbor.

“He drove off casually, so I guess he didn’t want to draw any attention,” neighbor Ryan Ezell said.

But the next day, police say Moore approached a 7- and 8-year-old in a neighborhood just down the street.

This time, police said he got out and "tried calling for the kids to come over and get in his truck."

“Very thankful he’s been arrested, off the street because I know that this isn’t the first time he’s probably done it,” Kitchel said.

Right now, Moore is being held on two complaints of attempted kidnapping and three complaints of indecent exposure.
