Police say a woman used her minivan to run down her ex-boyfriend Friday morning.

Police identify the suspect as Samantha Drywater, 21. They said Drywater was driving a minivan at about 8:25 Friday morning when she saw her ex-boyfriend, Levi Cooper, riding his Kawasaki Ninja on Harvard near 47th Street.

Drywater and Cooper broke up about six months ago after dating for seven months, according to Cooper's family.

Witnesses told us Cooper was trying to get away when Drywater hit him with her minivan from behind, knocking him off. Witnesses said she kept driving with the motorcycle wedged underneath the front of the van.

The witnesses said she drove for about three blocks before a Good Samaritan driving a truck forced her into the parking lot of the McDonald's at 49th and Harvard. They said other witnesses tried to keep her at the scene but she ran away. Police caught her a few blocks away.

Officers said Cooper has a broken ankle. Witnesses say he may have been killed if he hadn't been wearing a helmet.

Police booked Drywater into the Tulsa County Jail on multiple charges including assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run, obstruction and driving with a suspended license and no insurance.

They say they discovered she had 13 traffic warrants out for her arrest.
