Police: Warr Acres Woman Likely Died Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

Warr Acres police confirmed Thursday morning that a woman, who was found shot to death inside her home, likely died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to police, Tuesday night, 28-year-old Kelsey Windham was found dead at her home in the 5600 block of N.W. 58th Street. Police said she suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

Thursday morning, Warr Acres police told News 9 the ongoing investigation indicates that the gunshot wound sustained by Windham was likely self-inflicted.

Police said they are waiting on further reports from the Medical Examiner’s Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
