Detectives have safely located a missing 7-month-old baby girl in Texas.

Destiny Jewell was first reported missing Wednesday morning. The girl and her mother, 22-year-old Ashley Campuzano last seen at 9:20 p.m. Friday, July 3, at 1105 S. Broadway #17 in Edmond.

According to a report, Edmond Police became involved Tuesday night, when an Okmulgee County DHS Investigator contacted them.

The investigator told Edmond Police they had pickup orders for Destiny, who lived with her mother in Edmond.

Campuzano allegedly lives in Edmond with her husband, whom she told this weekend she was divorcing.

According to the DHS investigator, Campuzano is a known meth user and DHS has an open case involving her.

As of the time of the phone call from DHS to EPD, there was no paperwork in place or court proceeding stating that Campuzano Ashley could not leave with Destiny.

Edmond Police Detectives eventually located Destiny in Texas and tell News 9 the case will be worked out with Okmulgee County DHS and Campuzano.

The Edmond Police Department does not have an open case in regards to Destiny Jewell at this time.
