OKC Police Identify Taxi Driver Found Dead

Oklahoma City police have identified a taxi driver who was found dead inside his vehicle Saturday morning.

According to police, at about 7:30 a.m., 33-year-old Adam Abaker was found slumped over the wheel of his taxi cab near S.W. 26th and Robinson. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Abaker had trauma to his body consistent with homicide. At this time, no arrests have been made and no suspects named. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line (405)-297-1200.

This is Oklahoma City’s 37th homicide of 2015, according to police.
