4-Year-Old Boy Rescued After Falling Into SW OKC Pool

Oklahoma City firefighters rescued one person who almost drowned Saturday afternoon in a southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood.

Oklahoma City firefighters rescued a 4-year-old boy who almost drowned Saturday afternoon in a southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood.

Firefighters were called to a neighborhood near SW 59 Street and Santa Fe Avenue in reference to a possible drowning, an Oklahoma City fire official said.

A family member was able to pull the boy out of the pool quickly and performed CPR until firefighters arrived. The boy was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK, a fire official said.
